Press SET to setting items by below sequence: 12/24 hour format→Hour→Minute→Second (zero cleaning)→Year→Month→Date(Day change automatically) Press UP or Down to adjust desired value Year setting range: 2013~2048. During setting, Day will change itself automatically. Alarm Setting In normal time mode, press SET to display existing alarm time. Keep pressing SET for 3 second into alarm time setting. Press COMPASS to set alarm ON/OFF(With icon means ON) Press 12/24 to adjust value. Press SET to confirm existing setting A: Alarm sound will keep 1 minute when reach alarm time. B: During alarm sound, press any button for stop alarm sound. Compass This product is an electronic compass to receive the geomagnetic field. In actual use will be limited by some environmental conditions. In order to ensure the reliability of the reception of the geomagnetic field, please note the following matters when in use: The compass reading is easy interfered by magnetic sources .In view of displaying correct angle and orientation, keep the compass in horizontal line. Keep this compass away from magnetic sources like mobile, speaker, motor, monitor and other metal objects. What is Magnetic Declination? There is slight bias between Magnetic North and Geographic North. Most of the magnet compass point to Magnetic North, on the contrary, all measurements are based on the geographic North. The angle between the h magnetic north and the geographic north are called Magnetic Declination. The magnetic declination values (degrees, minutes) and direction (east, west) are depended on your location. Strict compass user or want to get accurate navigation, must be adjusted to compensate magnetic declination that is Calibration. Calibration Calibration should be performed in following conditions: -When batteries are removed or replaced -When the heading direction does not appear to be correct -When installed for the first time in a vehicle -When the sensor module has been moved(titled) or when the compass is moved to a new long distance location. Calibrating the compass: 1.Keep press COMPASS for 3 second, enter the calibration mode. CAL will be displayed on the display. 2.Put the compass in horizontal line, then turn the compass horizontally in a circle , taking around 30 seconds. 3.Press Compass return to compass display mode and start to measure. During the calibration process, the compass determines if any external magnetic interference is present that many be generated from the vehicle and separates it from the earth’s magnetic field. 4.When turn the car power via cigarette plug (the backlight off), after 10 minutes, the compass function is into dormancy status, and the compass have no angle number display and it shows — — . In dormancy status, Keep pressing DOWN button or switch on the car power by cigarette plug, the compass function is on and start working again. In dormancy status, if move the unit to another place, compass function need to be calibrated again. This product use battery AG2032.
